Kreta is een bekende bestemming voor wandelaars, vooral in de lente en de herfst! Iedereen kent de beroemde Samaria-kloof, die elk jaar duizenden mensen trekt. Ook de prachtige langeafstandsroute E4 die door Kreta loopt, is een bekende trekpleister voor wandelaars! Maar hoe zit het met de steden op Kreta? De meeste mensen die de steden Chania, Rethymno en Heraklion op Kreta bezoeken, zien steeds dezelfde bekende delen en straten en missen daardoor veel andere interessante delen van de stad. Tegenwoordig kun je met Google Maps, allerlei apps en vele stadsgidsen zelf veel dingen ontdekken. Het is ook leuk om gewoon zonder echt plan door een stad te slenteren! Maar in dit artikel geven we je enkele tips en ideeën om een aantal bijzondere hoekjes van de interessante stad Rethymnon te ontdekken.
